Our Story
This whimsical tale takes you on a journey into the deep blue ocean with Mimi the Mermaid. From the discovery of a pearl, Mimi learns about one of nature’s best treasures…herself. Traveling through this vibrantly illustrated underwater world, the story promotes discussions about self esteem, the meaning of beauty, and friendship.
The authors arranged for the initial proceeds from book sales to benefit the Reach Out and Read literacy program at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in their hometown of Columbus, Ohio.
